A while ago I posted about new evidence that the Greenland ice sheets are melting at double the rate they were ten years ago. Well tonight I was lucky enough to listen to the two scientists who produced the studies. Honestly the media does a horrible job of explaining science issues. These two lade out in simple terms just how fucked we are if we don’t do something soon. The sheets are pouring loads of water into the oceans which is bad enough, but when you factor in all the ICE that is also flowing into the ocean (something that is not done in any current climate models) we are really really fucked. It was depressing but educational.
