If they wont invite you to hearings, invite yourself. If cops keep removing you, bring like 12 people. Go one at a time so that they have to waste lots of time and each of you get to be heard. Hurray for America. Even though our system is broke, we manage.

The biggest problem with ‘participating’ in this fashion is that while everyone in the audience may get their few seconds of say, the committee will form their own opinion anyway and view the public as rowdy and ignorant for not participating according to their rules.
Having said this, I believe that committees such as this should allow a public forum where the opinions can be voiced during a set time period so these senators know how we truly feel. As the Senator from Montana declared, he has heard these same opinions from his constituents in Montana, but sometimes, on certain topics what he hears from his ‘people’ may differ from the rest of the country.
