Not Messing Around, You Need To Be Calling People, And Making A Fuss

ENERGY BILL DOWN TO THE WIRE!

THE U.S. SENATE VOTES THURSDAY AFTERNOON! The U.S. Senate is voting on a revised version of the Congressional Energy Bill on Thursday afternoon, Dec 13. On the passage of this bill depends Government support for renewable energy in America, including solar investment tax credits as well as production tax credits for large-scale renewable projects.

If the bill passes the Senate, it will almost certainly pass the House and go from there to the White House. Although the national Renewable Electricity Standard has been dropped from the bill in order to garner more Republican votes, there are still valuable extensions of tax credits in the bill that the renewable energy industry needs.

TAKE ACTION NOW!

If your senator(s) voted against clean energy you will be able to contact them by clicking above. Please make the call and tell them why clean energy support means so much to you and to the country!

  1. I know this will sound perverse. I think those Senators, who consistently have voted for the Energy Bill, especially those unbeholding to Ole King Coal and Big Oil, should vote “Nay” on Thursday afternoon and ensure that the Dirty Energy Bill fails. At this point it would make more of a statement.
