Help Put Recycline On The National Radar

These items could have your old yogurt cup in their plastic fibers!

I have been long overdue for a post. Granted, I have not been short of topics or inspirations over the months that have passed. But, here we are with some exciting news from a very interesting company that is in my “backyard”, relatively.

For those that purchase Stonyfield yogurt products, you may already be aware of Recycline, a Boston based company that manufactures toothbrushes, razor handles, plastic cutlery and more out of plastic waste such as the Stonyfield yogurt cup. They have recently been competing for a $100,000 Forbes.com Boost Your Buisness prize in order to start a national advertising campaign. I was alerted to this from their eNewsletter which I had subscribed to during a previous visit to their website. The message reads as follows:

Dear Recycline Friend,
Recycline has just been given a great opportunity to reach more people with our environment-friendly products. We’ve been named one of 20 semifinalists (out of 1,000) in the Forbes.com Boost Your Business competition. First prize is $100,000 which would go a long way to helping us spread our message—using Earth’s resources more efficiently and giving consumers better choices for the everyday products we all use.

Here’s your chance to help others discover Preserve: please click here to cast your vote and forward this message to your friends, family, and, well, anyone you know. The $100,000 prize will allow us to launch our first-ever mainstream marketing campaign and enable us to introduce Preserve products far and wide.

Thanks for your support—and for spreading the word to your family and friends!

For the Earth,

Eric Hudson and the Recycline Team

P.S. — As a thank you for taking a minute to vote for us, we’re offering 15% off all Preserve products during the month of August at www.recycline.com.

Happy voting and I can attest to the toothbrush and razor, both products I have been using for a little under five years now. I actually haven’t had to mail in a razor (the handle) yet and not sure if I will anytime soon with how sturdy that lil’ sucker is.
