HeatSpring Energy has several upcoming educational opportunites for professionals interested in geothermal HVAC systems for buildings.  These courses offer a great opportunity to learn accepted installation and design practices for this exciting, clean and efficient technolgoy.  Both events will take place on campus of Babson College in Wellesley Massachusetts.

Accredited Installer Certification
IGHSPA 3 Day Certification Course

International Ground Source Heat Pump Association

Location: Wellesley, MA

Accreditation: Upon successful completion of the training and passing the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association open book exam, students will be certified as accredited geothermal installers. They will receive an installer’s card, certificate of accreditation, and a three-year membership in IGSHPA.  The installer will be listed under the IGSHPA business directory of accredited geothermal installers.  This listing includes installer’s company name, website, email and phone number and is available on the IGHSPA website.  Also, many industry associations and geothermal organizations, including GeoExchange and the US Dept of Energy, refer customers to this listing to find qualified geothermal businesses.

 

Who will attend: This workshop is designed for developers, architects, manufacturers, distributors, dealers, installers, HVAC contractors, trenching/drilling contractors, and anyone who desires a working knowledge of this innovative technology.

 

Geothermal Design Seminar 
Two Day Seminar

Dr. Kavanaugh will be giving a seminar which he has performed across the country over 100 times for several thousand design professionals.  It’s a rare opportunity to hear Dr. Kavanaugh in person and seating is limited to 35 professionals. 

 

Who will attend: Current attendees signed up for the course include building energy managers, city and university planners, HVAC contractors, drilling contractors, architects, engineers, and builders.  This provides you with a unique opportunity to network with other geothermal industry professionals and to create your geothermal team.
