Back to the Dumb Mines:
It’s Monday so strap in for another week of scandal, stupid, and sleaze. I personally like to spend my Mondays calling senators and reps and telling them what I would like them to fight for, it feels a whole lot more useful than watching the Trump folks make a mockery of our government.
Just remember, this is not normal, this is not ok. We will be going back to something normal at some point, and we will look back on these times and use them as an example of what happens when money becomes more powerful than people. People are the ultimate power however, and together we will triumph, just keep fighting!

Flake extends his attacks on Trump and the GOP — all the way back to the dawn of birtherism (what you are seeing here folks is a man about to lose a senate seat “pivoting” aka “changing everything I believe in so I wont lose my job.”
This strategy doesn’t work when people on the left do it and it wont work when flake does it. People don’t want watered down versions of their positions to vote for, especially if someone starts running who truly holds those positions.

Tell them in no uncertain terms that you want them to fight to stop Trump from doing these things. Tell them you will be watching them closely on how they vote, and will hold them accountable during the next election if they cave to Trump. You can also call other states congress people and threaten to donate to their opponent if they don’t do what you want.
