You might not care about global warming, but the economic reality is that the rest of the world does, and they are shifting their entire business model away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy technology. America is being left in the dust. If we don’t change towards a more renewable and sustainable energy future we will be a energy and economic backwater while the rest of the world moves into a new green era.

I personally think we Americans should be outraged that our leaders (of either party) would allow this to happen. Even if you ignore the overwhelming evidence for global warming, there is a purely economic argument to be made that if we don’t pursue renewable energy technology, sustainable infrastructure, and green business practices we will be left behind.
