The number of people who regret voting for Trump is growing, they are starting to see just how badly they were lied to. I continue to believe that if done right, the Trump presidency could issue in a new FDR style new new deal for America. The left bullied Nixon into starting the EPA, passing the clean air and clean water act.
We must fight harder now than ever to make sure that we are opposing trumps policies with progressive policies of our own. We must fight for universal single payer health care, a 15 dollar minimum wage, a clean environment, pay equity for women, free public college, and all the rest. You can’t fight something with nothing, that was why Clinton lost.

Palm Beach mayor says he might have to raise taxes to pay for Trumps constant visiting. The 10th time in 8 weeks he has been playing golf, spending enough money to feed 6000 hungry seniors for a year on what he is spending in a year on these visits to mar-a-lago so far.

Baltimore is about to pass a 15 dollar minimum wage, but of course some large companies, republicans, and even some democrats don’t want that. If you live there be sure your mayor and all the city council knows you want this.

If you had to vote (even if its a protest vote) and there was a penalty for not voting, then a legal case could be made that voting must be as easy as possible. Which is why its interesting that New York is thinking about making voting mandatory. Personally I think you should get a tax break for voting, elections should all be on the same day, it should be a holiday, and as soon as you turn 18 you should be registered to vote and you should be able to vote in any race and primary.
