Robert Kennedy Speaking Tonight

Robert Kennedy Speaking Tonight

Robert Kennedy, Jr. speaks tonight, in New Bedford. Kennedy is founder of WaterKeepers, an environmental attorney, and a critic
of the proposed Cape Wind project will be speaking tonight at 7 pm at the Zeiterion Theater (684 Purchase St. New Bedford, MA)

This talk kicks off the annual east coast Bioneers event, a conference of environmental activists and authors:

The topic of the talk was not announced but we can assume he’ll discuss current environmental imperatives and issues of siting renewable energy systems

If you are not busy why not drop by and ask him why he doesn’t support renewable energy on the Cape. See if you can get him to admit he is just doing it so he wont have to look at them, consider it a fun game.

I am pretty happy with Robert Kennedy Jr. on most topics, but his blatent NIMBYism about Cape Wind has just been horrible. People want this wind farm, and it has been determined that it wont cause environmental harm, so I am really at a loss as to why he is still against it. I am sure it has nothing to do with his view, or the fact that Ted Kennedy hates the idea of having to pilot his yacht around the wind towers…
