One urgent priority is building momentum for the restoration of habeas corpus and the rollback of the Military Commissions Act.
There are three things you can immediately do:

1. Sign the letter to your elected representatives about the Military Commissions Act (#3 under “Take Action” on http://www.aclum.org/).
2. Go to http://www.aclum.org/abuse_of_power/index.html to download the petition “Is this What America Stands for?” Please get your friends, neighbors and colleagues to sign, and send it back to us.
