So once again we do the old dance of what major US city will feel the wrath of mother nature this year. It seems that Alberto is toying with the idea of becoming a hurricane, parts of Florida are being evacuated.
Alberto’s main threat seems to be heavy rain, but it is a relatively week storm in comparison to Katrina or Rita. What I am more worried about is when all that warm wet tropical air reaches an already soaked New England. Cape Cod has been getting rocked by rain storm after rain storm. The other day 7 inches of rain fell on my front yard in one day. If another ten inches were to fall I am not sure that things would stay in place.
This promises to be just one of many more posts of the hurricane season. Its only a matter of time before another major city is destroyed, and with FEMA in shambles, and congress talking about gay marriage, and fighting terrorists…well it doesn’t look good.
