The stock market went up over 400 points today…What are we spending all that money on.
Pretty sick how much of our money seems to be heading towards the rich, while the poor keep getting more poor. It is going to be very hard to fix the problems of this world if the income distribution continues onward in this way.
Amazing charts. Where are they from?
I’d like to see the DVD Player or iPod curve added to the final chart. I bet DVD has gone from 0 to 80 or so in no time, and iPods from 0 to maybe 50?
Really telling. Thanks for finding/creating this.

There is a reason that interest rates on credit cards are so ridiculously high, so that it creates a feedback cycle that you can either, not pay off or end up paying huge amounts of interest.
One might say that is the cost of using a credit card, which part of me is inclined to agree with. Do not buy $h1t you cannot afford. But then there is another part of me that unfortunately knows that are a lot of people out there that uses credit cards JUST to get by in life.
