My last Monday project with AmeriCorps. Only one more project and my year is over. We spent this last Monday building a solar panel frame to power a remote Osprey Camera (to view the birds as they hatch the eggs and raise the chicks). It was fun, and we spent it with one of my favorite service partners, John Pribilla with the Army Corps Of Engineers. The frame will eventually hold three panels and be hooked up to a camera assembly. Visitors to the Cape Cod Canal will be able to watch the birds from the visitors center.
I am apartment hunting like mad in order to get a place in Boston for my new job. If you know anyone who lives near downtown and has a cheap place for rent, please let me know! I have a couple of places I am looking at but more cant hurt. I also have to wrap up my year here which means lots of paper work and moving out. Tess is going to be coming back from China soon. This makes me more happy than I can state in mere words. I have been missing her. Over the next couple of days my posting may slim down a bit as I wrap up a lot of loose ends. But not to worry I will still try and post anything I find really interesting :) Till then wish me luck playing everyones favorite game, “how much shit can one person get done in a week”.
