Day 181:
The Russian Thing:
Ok, lets take a second and clear up the Russian thing. It seems pretty clear to me that Trump has been in bed with lets say “Russian mobsters” (I put the quotes because its hard to tell the difference between mobsters and politicians anymore) for decades.
They give him loans, they almost certainly use him to launder money, his ties with them are deep.
They helped him win the election. They hacked information for him. They colluded. The evidence is overwhelming. At this point they are just daring the American political system to do anything about it.
Here is the real, walk and chew bubble gum moment though. Can the democrats (or more accurately, will they) succesfully point out all of these very real and very serious crimes, while continuing to focus on fixing the problems we have here?
My gut tells me that they will not for the following reasons. The current crop of corporate democrats only do what their donors say, these donors are the same folks that run the republican party. That is why 8 years of Clinton, and 8 years of Obama only made the status quo stronger. Also why take a chance and fight for something when you can just scream “Russia!” All day?
We must vote out of office all the republicans, and most of the corporate democrats. And replace them with people who are capable of fighting for medicare for all on Monday, prosecuting collusion on Tuesday, raising the minimum wage on Wednesday etc etc.
Maybe some younger folks? Some diverse folks? Some women? Maybe lets not let our entire government be run by a bunch of corrupt greedy old white people.
This situation will only get worse unless we act. We have reached a crisis point, act now to save the country, or say goodbye to it.

Tell them in no uncertain terms that you want them to fight to stop Trump from doing these things. Tell them you will be watching them closely on how they vote, and will hold them accountable during the next election if they cave to Trump. You can also call other states congress people and threaten to donate to their opponent if they don’t do what you want.
