This is way more useful than giving everyone a $200 check to spend on food. Seriously though the problem I am having with this whole plan is that it is just not big enough. We are going to need a revolutionary radical shake up of the way things are going. We are going to need to consider 100% renewable energy in the next 10 years, and we are going to have to start shooting for 0% or even negative growth.

But this is a good start, and Obama is saying all the right things. Lets hope that once these programs get going they find success and they snow ball into a real paradigm shift.
