As you may recall, on April 10, the United States Senate overwhelmingly approved an amendment from Senators Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and John Ensign (R-NV) to add the Clean Energy Stimulus Act, which provides for a one-year extension of the Production Tax Credit (PTC) to the Senate’s housing bill. Thanks to your help and engagement we were able to secure an 88 to 8 vote in favor of this amendment, demonstrating the strong bipartisan support for renewable energy in the Senate.
