An informational meeting on the proposed Nantucket Sound wind farm will be held Tuesday March 4 from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the community hall in Woods Hole, 68 Water St.
Representatives from Cape Wind and Clean Power Now will provide an update on the status of the project, the recently released Draft Environmental Impact Statement from the Minerals Management Service, the public comment period ending March 20, and public hearings on the Cape and islands next month.
A short movie about Europeans who live near offshore wind farms will be shown. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
Admission is free and all are welcome to attend. Lunch will be provided downstairs from the hall; food is not allowed upstairs.
