Sure as hell beats the rush hour in Boston. Were some of those people actually having friendly conversation?!? Was that a smile I saw!?! Are those people working out and having fun and commuting home all at the same time!!!
I am pretty sure they are having a good time. You could tell cause you could hear them, you know cause the horn symphony was turned off, and the roar of diesel engines was gone. Someday Boston… someday.
*to be clear, this is not some event, this is every day in this city, thousands of people use the bicycle as their main form of transport.*
That is fantastic. There are 2 things that come to mind when I see this. First, I really wish I lived closer to work and riding my bike to work was an option. Second, I really wish the housing market were in better shape so that I could actually sell my house and make the first part a real option.
Living in San Antonio, TX, seeing this wonderful bike lane made me feel envious! We don’t really have bike lanes here!!! just horrific hummers, big-giant-huge-gas-draining- trucks are seen here!
I want to live in Denmark!!
you guys should check this out.
I ride to work every day, its not as hard or as dangerous as you might think

If I lived 3 to 10 miles from work, it would be a no-brainer decision to ride my bike. That would be a piece of cake, but my drive to work is about 25 miles unfortunately.
Hence the reason I wish I could move closer. And if the housing market would better, I would have put my house up already. I HATE being in the car any more than I have to be.
