Combined heat and power make so much sense that I see it as important part of the energy solution moving forward. The nice thing is it doesn’t care what you are burning, so you could be burning farm waste, or sustainably harvested grass, or some other sustainable bio-mass product. Some people think it might even be possible to create carbon negative (that is it pulls more carbon from the air than it puts back in) fuels this way.
