Greenpeace has created this super nifty electronic city simulator that lets you click around and find out all sorts of interesting facts about renewable energy and efficiency measure that can be integrated into a city to make it truly green.

This is the future folks, there is no one silver bullet answer to our energy problems. I instead favor a silver buckshot approach combining wind, solar, bio-mass, wave power, small scale hydro, efficiency, and life style changes. I found this little game pretty interesting, and think it is yet another fine example of how games can help us change the world.
