Interesting, not sure how much more eco-friendly this is than an oil powered car, but at least when you burn hydrogen you don’t get co2 emissions. I worry that the average person will not be willing to go through the trouble, but perhaps at some point they could figure out a way to get this to power an electric car (use the hydrogen in a fuel cell). I worry about the many noxious chemicals you have left over (sulfuric acid etc), but perhaps this process could be used to create the hydrogen at some filling station…I don’t know the more I think about the worse of an idea it sounds, but it is kind of neat that they built a hydrogen powered truck for less than 2k.
