The Carteret Islands off the coast of Papua New Guinea are drowning as a result of global warming related sea level rise. They are on the razor thin front line of global warming.

Maybe take a train, the bus. You know when you changed that light bulb to a new energy efficient CFL, the Carteret Islands thank you. You know how you area always calling up your congress person and telling them to outlaw coal plants, well the small children of Carteret island thank you for their future.

Global warming is not some sort of obscure idea we can think about like it was a physics problem. It is real, it is effecting real people, and sadly killing many of them.
