With all the millions of websites on the net (and hundreds more being added every hour) it can be easy to miss the diamonds scattered among the vast ocean of rough. The good people at Lighter Foot Step, which itself is a shining example of one of these diamonds, has honored The Sietch by including it on it’s top ten list of “Up-and-comer” blogs. Thanks!
Here is the rest of the list.

Lighter Footstep is an excellent magazine style blog. They always have about 20 features stories on the front page. Each one well illustrated, and well written. They don’t pump out 30 posts a day, but rather focus on quality and it shows. I was so impressed with the really excellent way that LF explored the idea of the green blog community that I decided to steal the idea and do my own top ten list.
Opinions differ, and different people look for different things in a website. I decided that I would simply do a list of ten web resources that I feel everyone should be reading to stay up to date with whats going on in the green world. I am going to leave about the big players Treehugger, Lime, Autoblog Green, etc. These sites get a lot of attention, but so often it seems to me that smaller sites are getting to the news first, and in some cases reporting on it better.
The criteria for selection was pretty simple. Is the site good? So here is the list (in no particular order).
