New story in the positive change section. The energy fair! This event was to turn in old dehumidifiers and air conditioners so that people could get a rebate for newer more efficient ones.

Did anyone say that they just wanted to get rid of their air conditioning altogether? The tide would really be turning if that had happened.
It was almost all dehumidifiers, as cape cod is rather damp and the mold doth groweth if you let your basement get too humid. But the good thing is now all those units will be running on less juice and providing the same service. less electricity used means less created = less burned oil/gas/coal. After the third and final turn in event is done on the 14th I will post the numbers of how many kilowatt hours of electricity we will have saved.
