We are nearing the first week, and the Trump destruction machine only seems to be speeding up. If you are reading this and shaking your head in sorrow, welcome to the resistance. We need your help, get informed, then call your senator and representative, go to town hall meetings, hell even run for office! This is NOT OK, and this is NOT NORMAL! I am also starting a new section for resistance! Its not enough to only know what Trump is doing to ruin this country, I think its important to keep track of how people are fighting him.

Here is what Trump and his sycophants are destroying today:

The USDA, EPA, Department of the Interior (who by the way were shut down because they had the audacity to state a blatant fact, no one went to Trumps jingo filled inauguration), hell even the parks service, have all been gagged.  Unable to continue talking to the public, unable to tweet, to use facebook, to release press releases, all because trump is afraid that they might say something that contradicts the grand leader.

This also means they can’t continue to share the vital work that we the tax payers pay them to do.  These organizations do a lot to keep us safe, to keep our industries and farmers competitive, and to protect our land,  if they can’t share those finding with us, they are not providing full value to us as citizens.  To put it another way, Trump is fucking us over in ever more Orwellian ways, both our freedom and financially.

They are rounding up journalists and charging them with rioting because they covered the anti-trump violence after the inauguration.  Can you think of a more fascist thing to do than to jail journalists for covering a riot against power?  For a long time people talked about Obama like he was the devil, using words like Fascist, Nazi, etc.

Mostly I think to dull us to the real meaning of these words, when you lock up reporters for reporting on things you don’t like, that is Fascism.  When you lie straight to the public, when you blame “illegals” for your loss in the popular vote, when government religion and big business all ride in the same car, THAT IS FASCISM  this is fascism, this is how it starts, we can’t let it get a foot hold in the American political system.

Ignoring the will of millions upon millions of American citizens, Trump has decided to move forward with the Keystone XL and DAPL pipeline.  Both projects had been effectively killed after a massive public outcry.  Could it have anything to do with the fact that he and members of his cabinet are heavily invested in these earth killing projects?  Could it be that the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners gave Trump millions?

This is raw bribery and insider trading.  Martha Stewart went to jail for this.  This is some Silvio Berlusconi tin pot dictator shit.  This is embarrassing that the congress has not already started the impeachment hearings.  I think any patriotism left in them has been purchased and placed in an offshore tax haven by the same big money interests that are running the Trump administration.

Who knows how long you will be able to read this website.  I can’t afford to pay the money it would take to compete in a world in which net neutrality doesn’t exist.  That world might be around much longer, as the new head of the FCC thinks that big companies should be able to pay money so that their websites are faster, are more popular, and crowd out the little guy.  This will have destructive effects on free speech, but it will also fundamentally shift the economic power of the internet into the hands of just a few.  This is the tech version of Walmart coming into a town and crushing all the mom and pop stores, only to leave a giant mega store behind that sells cheap crap, and pays starvation wages.

Stop me if you have heard this one before, Putin, Clinton, Bush, and Obama start a bunch of wars in the middle east, killing millions, and then when the millions of refugees flee the region, guess who bans them from entering the country….give up….its Trump!  Oh yea he is also going to waste a bunch of our money on that wall too.  Not only is illegal immigration the lowest its been in a long time.  People were not crossing the border to get here!  They were over staying their visas.  Pay attention, they will do nothing to solve this particular problem, because big companies and big farm like having cheap labor.  The wall will also stop people from going back home, causing more undocumented people to stay here.

Fascists need an “other.”  Without the other you can’t blame all your poor management on anyone, but the problem is that the other is never enough, you have to add more and more people into that group.  Hitler did it with the Jews, minorities, Roma, gays, etc.  Trump has already started on the Mexicans and the Muslims…is the group you are a part of next?

If you read closely you can’t help but wonder if Trumps defunding of so called “sanctuary” cities, and massive money influx to the INS is the precursor to a kind of deportation police.  Do you really want to see American brown shirts in the streets rounding people up?  Is this the country you want to live in?

If you are going to claim 2-3 million people voted illegally, then obviously we need to re-do the election!  Call Trump on his bullshit, every, single, time.  Trump is upset when he gets negative press, because he is a full blown self involved narcissist. We have to hold him to account, and do so publicly so his fragile little ego is crushed.  Never has a person had such thin skin been in charge of so much.  He must leave office knowing that every single american despises him and his actions.  Call up your local news agency every time they run a true hard hitting report on Trump, praise them for their bravery, buy their paper, share them on social media.  We have to support the organizations willing to tell truth to power.
