The people in power are afraid of us
Deep inside their minds they have two thoughts about the American people, fear, and contempt. These two ideas swirl around in their mind causing them to at once feel no compunction screwing us over, and at the same time running scared from us when we challenge them.
FIGHT BACK! Don’t let them screw you over, stand up to them, vote, get your friends to go to a town hall, get your friends to vote. There is a political awakening happening in this country right now, and its time we all rise up and use our vote to secure a future for ourselves.
Demand:
A living wage, pay equity for women, 100% renewable energy, strong environmental regulations, paid family leave and subsidized child care, free public college, medicare for all, an end to the many wars, and a re-regulation and breaking up of the big banks. Demand it be paid for by reducing military budgets and taxing the rich.
