For all you looking to buy gold as a hedge against the coming economic apocalypse…you might not want to allow crazy conspiracy theorists and scamy TV marketers to sell it to you.
The thing I find most crazy about these people, is that they are so quick to just give up and drop out of society. How about instead of building your bunker, you instead work hard to make sure the civilization that humanity has built over the last couple hundred years, the one that brings you food, security, and modern medicine, doesn’t fall apart. Vote, recycle, grow a garden, mentor a child, anything but stock pile gold and guns.
Gold is a commodity. It sells for whatever prices people are willing to pay. Do you have a problem with commerce?
I was watching Olberman the other night. In the last 25 minutes there were 4 commercial interuptions with 17 different commercials selling 17 different products. Gold wasn’t one of them, but if I had to choose between buying gold or onre of those 17 products, I would have bought gold. And it wouldn’t have been so much that I like Beck more than Olberman, I do, but because I had no use for any of those 17 products and gold is good anywhere on Earth.
