Recycling E-Waste (With A Giant Shredder!)

I worked on these issues for a couple of years, and was even involved in some e-waste reuse programs, and this is pretty awesome. I especially like the single source recycling stream. Throw everything into a big shredder and out comes metal, and plastic ready to use.

What would be REALLY cool is if computers and other electronics were built from the ground up to to be recycled. One can dream. Of course the number one way to reduce e-waste is to not buy or use so much electronic crap. Using less means that you have to recycle less.

  1. Despite the fact that these products are clearly labeled as
harmful, you may not be able to keep them away
from the hands of your children completely. There is also data
linking added sugar to cancer, especially breast cancer
and colon cancer. The Asiatic and calla lily when ingested can cause oral irritation which includes
intense burning of the mouth, lips and tongue as well
    as excessive drooling.
