The Cape Wind project is not dead, in fact it’s doing great! Now is no time to give up. I suggest you let the powers in charge know you want it to be constructed, soon. You can also look at the final environmental impact here (basically it says that Cape Wind is awesome)

The sooner the better!
I live in an area in Michigan here right off of Lake St Clair and its always windy here. I often find myself wondering if this could be replicated here also.
