So there are now THREE hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean at one time. As I write this hurricane Maria, Nate, and Ophelia are churning around looking for a temperature differential to fill. Now it might not be global warming (but it probably has something to do with it) but this is bad news. Hurricanes are nature’s way of getting rid of lots and lots of pent up heat in the oceans. If another serious one hits the gulf area you will see $10 a gallon gas and people will freeze to death this winter from lack of heating oil because they cant afford it. We HAVE GOT TO DO SOMETHING, about this oil problem. My solution of course is to use lots and lots of renewable energy systems installed on every home in the country (and all the business’s as well). But you know this would cost a lot of money. In the long run however it would make thousands of new jobs (now that almost half a million people don’t have a job to go back to). It would remove our dependence on “foreign oilâ€, and would drastically clean up our air, seas, and land. I don’t see why we can spend hundreds of billions of dollars to go blow people up, and hundreds of billions of dollars to rebuild after storms, but we cant spend hundreds of billions of dollars to prevent the extinction of the species?
