In a more horrific note, many seem to be more concerned with what the markets are doing, here, here, but all is not lost for it seems that oil has bounced back after its “drop” Seriously people, what the fuck. Is terror “good” for the price of oil! It seems to me that oil companies are making a hefty hefty sum of money from this so called “war on terror”. It’s all very confusing, and frankly pretty easy to concoct some big conspiracy theory. What I do know is that oil seems to keep getting us into trouble. It is causing global warming, gets us into all sorts of wars and political intrigue, and is really just nasty stuff in general. I would say lets get rid of all oil, you but our entire life from the food we eat to the medicine we get to keep healthy is based on the use of oil. So perhaps we should save up oil for the things we NEED, like medicine, gloves for doctors, new hearts, stuff like that. And use renewable energy for the stuff we DON’T NEED, like powering our cars, and running our TV’s.

i work offshore on a drilling rig and the sad part is if they start the well to get 5,000 barrels of oil thats what they get. I was on a well when they got to the bottom of the well it had 8,000 barrels that could’ve been pumped. But instead they got the 5,000 they went to get first before they found the 8,000. So after they got the barrels they cemented the other 3,000 barrels up that was light sweet crude oil. Due to the fact that thats all they came to get.Talkin about a waste of great oil. But look at it this way haliburton is the biggest wirline and well testers out there. If something goes wrong like explosions or damages they fix it. They are the ones in Iraq fixing all the oil problems. Heres the shocker the founder and owner of halliburton is…… GEORGE H. BUSH!!!!! I’ve been over there helping and Iraqs gas is only 5 CENTS A GALLON. WHAT THE FUCK.
